Ongehoord Goed Ultra Special
Ultra was a umbrella under which a lot of Amsterdam-based bands made experimental, unorthodox pop music, way back in the early 80s. Do-it-yourself, do it different, that was their mentality. At the same time, in Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Rotterdam, other bands made music with the same approach. Now, with a big punk- and post-punk-expo in Utrecht, a book about Ultra and the revival (one issue only) of legendary magazine Vinyl (see for all that info HERE), it's time to revive those times with eyewitness Oscar Smit.
